The Bourse is going green with new Solar Roof panels

The Delaware Business Journal is currently writing an article on the Bourse’s full array of photovoltaic solar panels on its roof built by SolarDock – provider of a unique, patented, solar-panel mounting system for flat-roof & ground installations that requires no penetration of the mounting surface. SolarDock is proud to join Kaiserman Company Inc and the Solar Division of Union Electric Contracting Co. in announcing that installation of a 43.05 kW photovoltaic solar array has begun atop Philadelphia’s historic Bourse. Also make sure to listen to 88.5 WXPN next week for an interview on the project. Read the full article: http://www.delawarebusinessblog.com/PDFdocs/100527%20Bourse%20M-1.pdf

Success at KEEP Event

The National Kidney Association screened 100 individuals at the Bourse KEEP, which is the 2nd highest turnout that the National Kidney Association has had for a KEEP screening in the past 2 years and one of the highest turnouts ever! And all 100 participants came out in torrential rain to attend the event.

The 38 volunteers included nephrologist Dr. Debbie Cohen and other volunteers from UPENN, as well as volunteers from Drexel, Jefferson and Temple.

For anyone that missed this free screening the next KEEP that the National Kidney Foundation is having in the area is at Bethel Deliverance International Church, 2901 W. Cheltenham Ave., Wyncote, PA 19095 on Saturday, April 17th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm - www.keeponline.org.
